About Megadeth and their Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying:

Megadeth, the metal band that was formed by the guitarist Dave Mustaine, became synonymous with their album by the name of Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying? However, the title track by the name of the album isn’t just the sole creation of the leading guitarist Dave Mustaine.

The lead drummer, the famous and most popular Gar Samuelson is also to be credited for this song. One of the band members Chris Poland owes the song to Gar Samuelson’s credit in 2012. Gar, a man with style and knowledge of the right amount of metal through music, had suggested Mustaine, the lead guitarist that the song should not be too long as it would ruin the beauty of the song.

Gar’s Death, but the immortality of the song:

Gar Samuelson had died quite young at the age of 41 due to serious drug addiction and liver failure. However, even after so many years, the song has still been the 11th most popular metal songs on the VH1 list of songs of all times and guitarists still consider Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying as one of the classics.  No doubt, if Gar hadn’t suggested to brief down the song in length, the song would have lost its due charm and popularity.

Chris Poland owes the song to Gar Samuelson’s credit in 2012. It is to be mentioned that it was Gar’s advice and Dave’s acceptance of the advice that has given the song this respect. Indeed Gar had some personality that Mustaine, who never listened to anyone else, listened to Gar at once. Gar Samuelson has been a drummer not only with style, but also with a personality.
